Nigerians have expressed excitements over the speech delivered by Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, at the ongoing Experience 2018 (#TE13), a musical concert held annually in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

Concise News had reported earlier that the clergyman warned Nigerians not to misuse the opportunity to call “Nigeria back to patriotism” in 2019.

Pastor Adefarasin called on Nigerians to vote for their values when they go to the polling booths in 2019.

On the leadership of the country, the clergyman stressed that he would not want to be ashamed to be called a Nigerian when in a gathering with other nationals.

His words: “When I stand beside a Canadian, an American, a Britain, a Belgian, I don’t want to feel ashamed because of what miss leadership and miss governance over the nearly 60 years of our existence has done to what a beautiful lady called Nigeria, have now been so emaciated and needs specialised intensive care if she is to make it out of the sickness.

“Do not misuse an opportunity like this to call Nigeria back to patriotism. When you go to the polling booths, vote for your values.”

Moments after his speech, Nigerians took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to air their opinions.
