Nigeria Prisons, Fire Service Recruitment: FG Releases Fresh Update

The Federal Government has approved the continuation of the recruitment process into the Nigeria Prisons Service and the Federal Fire Service, Concise News understands.

This news medium reports that recruitment into the Nigeria Prisons Service and the Federal Fire Service was halted last year for some unknown reasons.

However, in a statement by the Secretary to the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB), Al-Hassan Yakmut on Tuesday, the new development was a sequel to a meeting of the board on the 9th and 10th of this month.


According to the statement, “the meeting…approved the recruitment of 2,200 candidates into the Federal Fire Service and 7,475 candidates into the Nigeria Prisons Service.”
